In 2012, when traditional household paper equipment was still stuck in the era of single functions, our founder Mr. Huang formed a team of engineers and founded Mingyang in Foshan, the industrial heartland of the Yangtze River Delta. With the mission of “making production smarter”, Mingyang launched the first generation of rewinders, folders, and paper towel machines, providing “high-efficiency and energy-saving” production solutions for medium and small-sized paper companies.

In 2015, when the e-commerce penetration rate exceeded 10%, we were the first to see the trend of consumption upgrading: the market demand for cotton wipes was budding and the annual growth rate was doubling. The R&D team spent 438 days on technical research and innovatively developed a cotton wipe production line that is suitable for multi-fiber blending technology. In 2016, the first intelligent production line was put into production and received an order from the industry leader. The sales volume exceeded 20 million US dollars that year, successfully helping more than 10 cooperative customers to seize the blue ocean market of the category.

In 2017, the industry pioneered a dual-purpose machine for tissue paper and nonwoven fabric, combining the facial tissue and cotton soft towel equipment into one. The patented V-folding technology increased the equipment utilization rate by 160%, helping customers reduce unit production costs by 30%, and truly realizing “flexible production, cost reduction and efficiency improvement”.

We continue to deepen the “one machine, multiple functions” strategy: developing non-woven fabric embossing devices to meet the customization needs of kitchen rags, and launching adjustable tension systems to adapt to different substrates. In three years, we have helped more than 200 customers develop a variety of innovative products, and the equipment investment payback period has been shortened to 12 months.

In 2022, we started the research and development of hanging cotton soft towel equipment, overcoming the industry pain point of 15% material loss of traditional equipment. Through the original dual-purpose machine and double-sided discharge, the equipment utilization rate is increased by 50%, and the material utilization rate reaches 98.5%. In 2023, the first “double-sided discharge” production line was put into production, achieving a single-line daily output of 40,000 bags, providing hardware guarantee for customers to create a “hot product matrix”.

The overseas business department was formally established to build an overseas operation platform matrix. The equipment was exported to Southeast Asia, the Middle East and other regions, helping overseas customers to build intelligent factories.

We started to develop the dual-purpose folding machine for N-fold hand towels and cotton towels, which can double the size of the finished product and expand the application scenarios. At the same time, we started the development of the point-break wet wipe production line, successfully implemented the “pre-tear corner traction” technology, achieved a 100% success rate of single-handed extraction, and integrated aseptic filling technology, pushing personal care products into the era of medical-grade clean standards.
